Thanks to @willow_forge_custom_knives, for this amazing knive.

Neil have an artistic formation, and we can enjoy what an artist doing when he forges.

The blade is in stainless clad, brass, and triple high carbon steel Damascus with an exposed tang handle using carbon fiber and ash handle.

The balance is perfect, all is very natural when I use this knive. Usual, I'm really not fan about the S grind, but on this blade, something is natural with this grind.

Une piece exceptionnelle...
Il y a des artisans, avec qui, on ne serait expliquer pourquoi il y a cette petite chose en plus, le détail qui fait qu’on y reviens, que l’on s’en sert, ou qu’on admire la piéce.

@thomasraffy en fait définitement parti, voici quelques mois que je possede cette piece, parmis d’autres réalisation de Thomas, et elle a cette personalité propre que je ne saurai expliquer.
Tout en conservant toutes les qualités de ces lames : un équilibre parfait.

Cette piece me fait pensé de suite à l’heritage japonais, c’est pour cela que j’ai choisi de la shooter sur un Satoyama de @yoshihironarisawa , plus qu’un livre un manifeste de ce que etre la cuisine japonaise inspirée par son environnement.

@thomasraffy is definitely one of them. I’ve owned this piece—along with other creations by Thomas—for a few months now, and it possesses a unique personality that is hard to put into words.

It immediately evokes a Japanese heritage; that’s why I chose to photograph it alongside *Satoyama* by @yoshihironarisawa—a work that is more than just a book, but a manifesto of Japanese cuisine inspired by its environment.

Des milliers d’années dans le manche. Une explosion dans la lame.

Damas « explosion » forgé par @la.forge.agab , ivoire de mammouth, mitres en argent massif gravées par @dominiquechevallet : une pièce signée La Forge AGAB, dont la lumière révèle toute la finesse.

Ce qui me captive ? La richesse des détails, l’équilibre de l’ensemble.

Quand l’Irlande rencontre l’île d’Islay, ou quand la culture gaëlique ne fait qu’un.

Je trouve quelques chose de conparable dans ces deux produits, un sorte de force, un vision d’artisan et un profond respect de la culture.

Shirogorov time....

Kami flipper designed in collab @sinkevichdesign

Here is my everyday carry knife. @shirogorov_knives has truly created something exceptional—in its shape, its action, and that sense of solidity.

You find yourself wanting to take it everywhere.

The lines are at once complex and so natural; every facet ultimately comes together to form a perfectly cohesive design.
