The Oakridge Chronicles: Diesel

Steam may hold the village's heart, but efficiency has a new look. Our favorite workhorse, the Class 20 diesel switcher, has just rattled into the Oakridge goods yard. Clad in its heavily weathered, grime-streaked brown and red livery, it’s here to take over the heavy lifting from the steam giants.
The new railway engineer is absolutely thrilled to finally see a modern timetable schedule running like clockwork; even if the traditionalists by the station house are still muttering about the lack of smoke.

A village square is coming together. The magic of model making is in creating a mood where every character has a purpose. From the artist capturing the scene on canvas to the music in the corner, it is all about the small details that make a miniature world feel alive.

Look closely at the layout. What is the first thing that catches your eye?

## Oakridge Chronicles: Station Duty at the County Fire Brigade 🚨🚒
Morning prep at the County Fire Brigade station is in full swing, and everyone has their role to play.

#OakridgeChronicles #ModelRailway #CountyFireBrigade

Out front, Officer Miller stands outside the brick watchtower, intently reviewing today's dispatch notes while his loyal station dog, Buster, waits patiently at his feet

Over by the engine bays, final maintenance is under way to keep the response vehicles field-ready, one technician rolls out a fresh tire for the vintage red tractor, while another inspects the engine bay of the classic Land Rover service vehicle parked alongside the pumps.

Beyond the station courtyard, trackside life carries on heavy freight rumbles down the line, cattle graze quietly in the pasture, and the fire brigade stands ready for the call.
