Well to some I hope you enjoyed the Fourth.
Today is when I will enjoy mine.

On July 5, 1852 the runaway slave but who became an important Abolitionist of history - Frederick Douglass strategically delivered a speech in front of church members, church leaders, and community groups that advocated for “life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness for all people”.

In his speech you can hear the echoes of plenty others that fought this struggle for years to come.
Today we are choosing to still fight by honoring those that stood the battle.

And that concludes the Heavenly Bodies series where art and reality meet.

Most of these designs were emotional yet unique, moving some to tears while revealing the true image of America and its people. I am incredibly honored to have kept these names remembered.

Heaven is a kingdom for God’s children and those who fought for His people.
How are you contributing to the world God created?

Are you ignoring, or are you igniting?

The theme Heavenly Bodies is not only acknowledging the Zodiac of the living but the stars that have gone before us. The constellations are more than just myth and mystery from Grecian culture. It is a design of our purpose. It tells stories of who we are and from which we came.

These Heavenly Bodies deserve to be remembered and celebrated for the suffering they endured but more so to show the reflection of the posture of our universe.
Their bodies may be buried but God keeps them in preserved in the sky.

For the next 6 days I’ll be posting a star that’s gone but never forgotten.
