A ridiculous but amazing sequence from the thrilling final section of The Phantom of the Opera (1925), soundtracked with a new live score by Andrew Wasylyk and Tommy Perman.

If Christine chooses the scorpion, she will save the life of her lover Raoul — but will have to marry the Phantom. Choose the grasshopper, and the entire opera house will be blown to pieces, taking her, Raoul, and the Phantom with it.

*The vinyl arrived at Clay Pipe HQ yesterday so pre-orders have not been sent out yet, but will ship ASAP

A note of gratitude to everyone who came along and sold out @dcadundee for the start of @surfacepressure and I’s tour. We really enjoyed talking to Dundead Festival’s Michael Coull afterwards for a deeper look at 1925’s The Phantom Of The Opera and answering all your brilliant questions.

Limitless gratitude to truly brilliant pals and musicians who breathed life through the songs on tour this year, audiences who took a punt, shops who stocked, DJs who spun.

It’s tougher than ever out there to have time and resources to create, record music and book your own tours, so huge congratulations to all the amazing artists on the list and to all albums being made out there that soar below, above and beyond any awards radars. ❤️
