Bisnizzi 2025 is now out and about!

Alongside our first love, Malvasia, a few cheeky bunches of Ribolla Gialla found their way into this bottle.

This freshly dressed gentleman is certainly more serious than his predecessors. With a baby on the way, hand-printed labels have been retired for now - honoured instead to feature artwork by the late Ewen Henderson. by @aa.zest

Primo mirabolante evento del neonato @circoletto_senza_rete !
Un pomeriggio di tranquillità e pure relazioni umane, giochi, passatempo e un aperitivo coi fiocchi.
Quando?
Il 2 giugno prossimo dalle 17:00 alle 20:30 circa, un ponte bislacco che renderemo unico con una conclusione tutta da scoprire
Dove?
Ne @ilgiardinodilaila , pochi chilometri dal centro di Trieste, l’azienda agricola di Fabio e Valeria, dai quali ci riforniamo abitualmente.
Con chi? Innanzitutto voi, amici curiosi di riscoprire una maniera differente di passare il tempo, senza l’ausilio/ostacolo dei nostri device, ve li faremo spegnere (addirittura) faremo qualche foto noi, ma la posteremo il giorno dopo, per rendere tutti partecipi del nostro pomeriggio speciale all’insegna del “tutto molto meno” e senza suonerie o avvisi.
Ci sarà il dottor Nicola Salvalaggio (@accogliesciogli ) giovane psicologo specializzato nel benessere delle persone, perchè magari due chiacchiere più approfondite su quello che ci manca si potrebbero voler fare.
Ci saranno Andrea e Sophie di @aa.zest che fanno dei vini buonissimi e insieme a Fabio e Valeria vi offriremo un aperitivo campagnolo e appetitoso a base dei loro prodotti.
Ci sarà il pane di @spacciopani ( e forse anche qualche fornaio a bisbocciare con noi)
Cosa si farà?
Potrete portarvi un libro, l’uncinetto, il freesbe o i colori per dipingere, noi forniremo coperte per godersi l’aria e il prato, le chiacchiere e altri giochi magari un po’ desueti. Sai suonare? Porta il tuo strumento!
Unica regola, spegnere il cellulare.

Vi chiediamo di prenotare per darci l’idea di quanti potreste essere, e il costo del pomeriggio compreso l’aperitivo con un calice e le libagioni sarà di 15 euro. (Altri calici a consumo)

Se dovesse essere brutto tempo lo faremo da Mimì e Cocotte.

Three Saturdays of harvesting and now our golden grapes are happily fermenting away. We were reminded of why they call it ‘heroic viticulture’ and are excited to welcome new and different wines to the cellar. Bounty was generously shared with Trieste’s wild boars, bees and birds. by @aa.zest

It’s a proper Italian summer. Hot evenings spent labelling and wax sealing our bottles. The Malvasia Istriana harvested last September is finally ready to be enjoyed. Bisnizzi translates to “unserious business” in the Triestine dialect (“faccende” in Italian) - Fitting for this label that would not exist without the support, advice and leads from old and new friends who helped turn our weekend passion project into a “serious” bottle. by @aa.zest

Zest is in the bottle and we’re in the vineyard. Just over a year since we left Sicily and slowly found our feet between winemaking weekends and the working week. April has been a crescendo of everything all at once, and it feels like we are about to close this long chapter with our first vintage. Then, as summer approaches, perhaps we will find a moment to sit back for a while, ideally with a cool glass of Malvasia and a dip in the Adriatic - we’ll see. taken in Trieste, Italy by @aa.zest

March marks two months of vineyard lunches, sunsets and handwork. Our four coastal plots are getting some much-needed TLC, while we get to picnic amongst agaves, olive trees, and wild flowers in bloom. A fair deal in our opinion. taken in Costiera by @aa.zest

We swapped windy and cold for windy and hot, and smuggled a naked bottle of Zest in our luggage to share with friends and family in South Africa - our first export! Here, other than tasting and stocking up on some of our favourite wines, we were once again reminded that terroir is also made by its people. Big thanks to our very cool and equally generous winemaking friends in the Swartland - an absolute privilege as always. taken in Western Cape by @aa.zest
