Today, I will officially be graduating first generation from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Communication 🎓🍾 I want to thank my family and friends for being the best support system I could ask for, Lord knows this journey was not easy! 23 years ago my mom made the hardest decision of her life. She fled a war-torn country and left behind everything she knew to start a new life in America so that her children could have a better future. I want to thank my mom and my brother for being my biggest cheerleaders and always motivating me to reach this goal. Thank you to the African Students Association at ASU for trusting and allowing me to reactivate the organization and bring back a beautiful thriving African community on campus. Thank you to the Zeta Alpha Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Incorporated for shaping me into a fierce community leader and helping me form lifelong sisterhood and mentorship 🩷💚. Thank you to my friends for all of the late night, 3 am study sessions in the library and for making these 4 years so memorable. This journey is definitely one of the best decisions I’ve ever made in my life and I am so appreciative of everyone who played a role in it.

Next stop…..MBA 🎓
