A session I’ll remember for a long time. 🎣

Everything was placed with precision. Each rig carefully positioned exactly where I wanted it, followed by just the right amount of bait. Then came the waiting…

The lake went completely quiet. Nothing but the sound of the water, the wind through the trees and the occasional movement on the surface.

Until suddenly, that silence was broken by an insane run. 🔥

The alarm screamed, the line started peeling off the spool and just like that, the waiting was over. The fight was on.

She put up an incredible battle, taking line and making me work for every metre. There’s always something special about those moments when you know there’s a serious fish on the other end.

And then, after what felt like an eternity, she finally came into the net.

As she slowly slid over the netting, everything just stopped for a second. The feeling of seeing a fish like that lying safely in front of you is impossible to explain.

50 Ib of pure power and one of my biggest carp to date. 🐟🔥

A fish I’ll remember for a long time — not just because of the weight, but because of everything that happened before that moment.

Chasing moments, not just fish. 🇩🇰

This is what it’s really about for me.

Being by the lake, slowing down and taking in everything that happens around you. Watching the little ducklings messing around in the water, and then suddenly a white-tailed eagle comes flying overhead with a fish in its claws.

You just don’t get moments like that anywhere else.

It’s these little things that keep me coming back to the bank, week after week.

And when a chunky mirror carp finally comes along… well, that’s just the icing on the cake. 🎣🐳🐳

Sometimes you just get that feeling from the very beginning — like something special is about to happen. 🎣

That’s exactly how it felt as the rods were set and the lake settled into complete peace and quiet. Everything just felt right.

The next morning, the alarms went off and hell broke loose. 😮‍💨🎣

After a hard fight through the trees and reeds, I finally managed to slide the net under my biggest common carp to date.

An absolute dream fish in every way. The kind of fish you picture in your head long before you ever get the chance to hold it.

One of those mornings i won’t forget anytime soon.

A short evening session last week turned into something pretty special. 🎣

Three fish, one after another, and just when I thought things couldn’t get any better, the biggest one of the evening came along.

To land it, I had to jump in the boat and literally get pulled around after it before finally getting it into the net. 🎣🛶

My biggest fish from this lake so far — and what an absolute beauty of a mirror at 18.2kg. 🐳

Definitely one of those sessions where a few hours can turn into a story worth remembering.

Some fish are more than just a number on the scales.

I had been fishing this lake on and off for around five years, usually only making a session or two each year.

But this fish was different.

At the time, she was the lake record — and she was the fish I wanted more than any other.

So I decided to give the lake everything I had.

Four months of fishing it seriously. Early mornings, long nights, plenty of days by motionless rods and a lot of patience.

Then, one day, the alarm finally screamed.

22kg.

The fish I had been searching for was finally in my hands.

Some goals take time. Some take patience. And some are worth every single hour.

Some fish don’t need a big story.

Just time, patience and the right moment.

A beautiful common carp that made every hour worth it.

This session was something different! 🌩️🌧️🎣

Playing a big fish out on the boat while thunder, lightning and heavy rain were giving us a proper beatdown was an experience in itself. We eventually had to seek shelter at the nearest shoreline and wait for the storm to pass.

But as soon as the storm cleared, the other rod went and we were straight back into the action! 🎣🔥

Definitely a session I won’t forget. What a weekend! 🤝

While hunting for the Big Girl, I had some proper characters along the way. 🎣

A few unexpected visitors, each with their own unique look and personality. Some big, some beautiful, and some just really cool. Like this two tone beauty.

But the hunt continues… 👀🎣

Some moments can’t be rushed.

Watching 40-80 carp feed from above was unreal. The hardest part wasn’t finding them—it was waiting for the right moment.

Sometimes, all it takes is one well-placed rig.

Chasing moments, not just fish. 🎣

Some moments remind you exactly why you keep coming back.

Early mornings, late nights, endless hours… and then everything comes together.

It’s never just about the size of the fish. It’s about the journey, the patience, and the memories made along the way.

More to come. ❤️🎣

Sometimes you need to take a step back to remember why you started.

I’ve been quiet on social media, but I’ve been spending every chance I get by the water. The result? Some unforgettable captures and, most importantly, I’ve rediscovered the passion that made me fall in love with fishing in the first place.

Now it’s time to share the journey with you. Stay tuned. ❤️🎣
