✨A beautiful space for children & families to gather together & experience the joy of stories 📚 written and shared by authors from our community!

Featured Authors
- Dr. David Washington {The Black Defender}
- Dr. Ladonna Thomas {Charlotte’s Trip to the N.C. State Board of Nursing}

This gathering represents something deeply important to us… We want our children to see themselves reflected in literature, history, creativity, and the arts.

Just as importantly, we want them to meet the writers creating these stories and understand that their own stories, ideas, imaginations, and voices matter too. ❤️ taken in Friends of the City of Raleigh Museum by @aacfestival
