✈️ We’re recruiting for the Air Cargo Challenge 2026!
The Air Cargo Challenge (ACC) is an international competition where student teams design and fly RC aircraft to carry as much payload as possible with limited power.

Last time, we organized the event together with @euroavia.aachen — now we’re ready to compete at ACC 2026 in Stuttgart! 🇩🇪

If you’re passionate about aircraft design, aerodynamics, or hands-on engineering, this is your chance to be part of something incredible.

👉 DM us or check the link in our bio to join our ACC 2026 team!

(Note: the planes shown on slide 3 are not made by us, but have been used at ACC’24)

For the construction of our drones we use CAD programs to model. For these tasks we use the space mouse by @3dconnexion to maximise our efficiency! 🖱️🔥

This year IMAV will be held place in Mexico City 🇲🇽 and has some interesting challenges that are hard to tackle. But we are excited, especially with the addition of new team members!🤩

Interesting in joining the team? Go to aachen-drone.de and fill out our google form! And who knows we might see you in the meeting🫣 #ADDI #rwth #rwthaachen #imav2025 #imav #studentteam taken in RWTH Aachen University by @aachendrone

We've mastered the Design Build and Fly 2024!

It was a great event. We completed all three missions and landed safely. This year we were a smaller team with many newcomers, but we still developed a safe aircraft. The team gained a lot of experience and can make us even better next year. Next year, we'll compete with a new team and new energy. We'll keep making our project aircraft better.
See you next year at Design Build and Flight 2025!

Would you like to come to America with us next year? Join us in the workshop and we'll work on the next aeroplane!✈

We arrived in America earlier this week to take part in Design Build and Fly 2024 with our UAV aircraft. In addition to the long journey, we have already completed the tech inspection and successfully mastered the first mission of the competition.

In the next few days we will carry out the last two missions, where the payload in particular will play a major role.

We wish the team nose an gear leg break!

This week our self-programmed optimizer finalized the results for this year's unmanned aircraft for the Design, Build and Fly competition 2024, which allowed us to start designing the aircraft over the weekend. Our team is actively developing in CAD so that we can start laying out the aircraft as soon as possible.
Follow our channel to learn more about the design!
