Happy Birthday me!!! Happy Halloween too that’s a thing . I feel the need to make a life update post since it’s been a few years and I don’t really talk about myself on here, and there’s somewhat of a good reason for that. So like if you don’t care that’s great, please just disregard the following monologue and have a good one! . . . After I finished High School I really didn’t know what to do. I was super stressed at the time, from what I figured was just from wrapping up school, band, and dealing with my father (which I will not be going into), and scrambling to find out where I wanted to take my life. So to prevent myself from making the wrong decision, I figured I’d give myself a break year to reset myself. . Nine months pass and I’m still at the same level of “stress” that I was at before. Like an inescapable threat was eating away at my thoughts. So I saw a psychiatrist as well as a therapist. We figured out that I have an anxiety disorder, some form of depression, and what I wasn’t expecting: ADHD. I started getting treatment for my mental problems and things started to go right. I started to feel normal joy from things that I know I’m supposed to enjoy, began to draw again, and all in all just was more confident in myself. Then I made the decision to buy a car. Making that decision initially wasn’t too difficult, but at the time I still had my doubts. Everyone around me said that my fears were very unlikely to happen, so I shook it of and put all my eggs in one basket for this thing. I’ll get the money back relatively quick right? . In September of last year, I was in a car accident that cost someone’s life. It absolutely wasn’t my fault but I was left completely devastated. My car was totaled, I had just lost my most efficient way of getting money, and I had blamed myself for someone else’s death. I couldn’t even go back to therapy since at that point I didn’t even have the budget. . So for the past year I’ve been clawing my way back to a state of normalcy. It’s been bumpy ride but I’m doing a lot better now. I almost have enough for a car again and hopefully things will go better this time. I just have to believe in myself again. by @aack_its_alex
Another year passes and another top 10 is posted :). Honestly this past year has been a wreck for me, so I really didn’t accomplish much, despite 2023 being a great year for games. Hopefully 2024 goes better for me. by @aack_its_alex

I met Mario and got my favorite game again so he could sign it :) by @aack_its_alex
And even later than last year- Here’s my list of games from last year; it’s always good to keep track of what I’ve done, and while I feel that I didn’t play that many large games, I definitely played some pretty great ones! by @aack_its_alex
Sketch Progress - March 2022 Wow, I totally didn’t hesitate to post anything at all haha what’s anyone talking about… . . Yeah, Stress is totally getting to me; I really want to have the drive to draw again, but with everything going on, my brain doesn’t want to work the way I’d want it to. I have ideas in my silly brain and I want them out. Soon by @aack_its_alex
Sketch Progress - February 2022 . . I didn’t just want to keep my sketch stuff locked in my stories so I’m putting them up … I’m glad I was finally able to get out of the horrible mental pit I fell into when March of 2 years ago happened, because I can finally, somewhat express my brain onto a piece of paper again. Hopefully this both keeps up and improves because I wanna keep going by @aack_its_alex
Here’s a gutted down version of my favorite games list of last year; I wanted to make this list a lot earlier and have it be a lot bigger but I quickly ran out of time. Here it is anyways!! PS: everything from like 5-10 can be easily swapped around; games are very subjective, and this is way more of a personal list than anything #games #nintendo #atlus #fightinggames #playstation #videogames by @aack_its_alex
Today, December 7th, 2021, marks the 3rd anniversary of the game that I hold very dear to me: Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. This is the first anniversary with the game being “content complete”, and with that, I can say with confidence that “yeah, this is one of my favorite games.” I already poured out my emotions of this game when the final character, Sora, was released, so I’m not going to do a repeat of that. But, I still believe there isn’t a way to thank Sakurai and the Smash Team enough. So once again, thank you #smash #smashbros #thankyousakurai #nintendo by @aack_its_alex
