A heartfelt thank you to everyone who attended the 2026 AACUC Conference: Not Like Us...The Remix! Your enthusiasm, authenticity, and willingness to connect, learn, and share ideas made this year's conference truly unforgettable.

By showing up as your authentic selves once again, you created a welcoming environment where belonging, collaboration, and professional growth flourished. It is because of each of you that the AACUC conferences continue to be such a meaningful and impactful space.

Congratulations again to our 2026 Pete Crear Lifetime Achievement Award honorees—Marsha Majors, Mary McDuffie, and Gary J. Perez. Your leadership, dedication, and lasting contributions continue to inspire us all.

A special thank you to our outstanding speakers, generous sponsors, dedicated volunteers, and hardworking organizers whose commitment made this conference possible.

We hope you leave with new ideas, stronger connections, and renewed inspiration to make an even greater impact in your communities.

*We would like to remind everyone that AACUC will be out of office next week, coming back on regular hours on Monday August 17th*

On the night of May 28th, 2026, a dormitory fire broke out at Utumishi Girls Academy, a boarding secondary school in Gilgil, Nakuru County, Kenya. Tragically 16 students died and 79 others were injured.

TruStage has graciously donated 1,016 trees to the Utumishi Girls Academy in Gilgil, Nakuru County, Kenya. 16 of the 1,000 trees will be for the families that lost their daughter in the terrible fire.

AACUC’s President/CEO Renée Sattiewhite and TrueStage’s Chief Administrative Officer Greg Holman planted trees in the memorial garden at Utumishi.

Every year since 1988, from September 15th through October 15th, the United States observes and celebrates Hispanic heritage. 🌸🌼🌺

This recognition is thanks to the 1960s Civil Rights Movement, when the importance of recognizing the valuable contributions made by Hispanics in the United States gained traction.

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month from AACUC!
