The metro, buses and rickshaws from the final set with @aadiseshaiyer

One of our favourites from this series is the final image from this set, of the man sleeping at a bus stop in Juhu.

We thoroughly enjoyed putting these together with Aadi!

@aadiseshaiyer looking for moments of calm,
in the chaos of Mumbai’s local trains. taken in Mumbai - मुंबई by @aadiseshaiyer

Our next is a photoseries shot on film by Aadi Sesha Iyer, a cinematographer by profession. For Aadi, photography is a way to understand the city and its vibe. He finds himself traveling to different parts of the city for work, and always has his camera on him. He likes shooting on film, as it keeps him present. It keeps him from reviewing the pictures immediately.

Mumbai is chaotic, and commute in this city even more so. Aadi looks for moments of calm in this chaos. And moments of color in this overwhelmingly grey brown city.

When looking at his pictures, he doesn’t want people to feel any deep emotions or any of the maddening chaos that is there in reality. He wants them to be feel present in that moment, feel a sense of calm and enjoy the colors!

This, is Aadi’s City. taken in Mumbai - मुंबई by @aadiseshaiyer
