Thank you! @gcac_cbus Navigating these spaces as an Artist with multiple jobs has been tremendously productive and resourceful with your support. And thank you @614her for allowing me to be part of such a wonderful community event recently!

Artist Archive 24’ Pt. 1
Yes! Hello! I am an Artist to those who may not know!

These are just 1 of many moments I’ve held onto. Shout out to my loved ones who help me make things happen. From pictures to food and conversation—your support will never go unnoticed, especially bc I like to take my time.

Artist Archive Pt. 2
Three years ago today, I sat across from my professor in my studio & had a❤️to❤️ conversation. What u see 1st is a digital artwork. The poem documents this moment in life where my creative space became a mirror and no longer an escape. Poetry is how I speak to God and share this relationship witchu! The photography in dis uses raw documentation/process as part of the final visual. Welcoming you into what things look like when I am creating.

Having a cup of tea everyday… saving almost every last bag, embracing every life lesson while also most importantly caring for me. This is what my self-portraits mean. The 2nd slide is what you’d usually see as the final more traditional piece but I’m wanting to do things a bit diff hence the 1st one I’m sharing! A look into the journey of stepping more into myself, connecting with tools that life gives me freely. A Valentine’s gift to myself, I love you girl. taken in Home by @aaishel

This was my favorite song a couple years back. Ended up creating on of my fav pieces by pulling inspiration from it! During a period where I was only making B&W art— struggling to find inner peace, to now finding clarity in it.

The last photo is handwriting on the wall from a solo exhibit. Paraphrasing from the film ‘I Am Not Your Negro’ to reimagine disconnected community, politics vs. affinity, and diff interpretations of B&W.
