Love is when they give you a piece of your soul you never knew was missing. It isn’t something you find. It’s something that finds you.

2026 - 2018 - 2013

E.T. Flying across the moon is the first thing I ever painted.

Back in 2013, I was a photographer following a graffiti crew around. I wanted to participate, but I had absolutely zero painting skills. One of the guys suggested I try making a stencil. Skip to the 3rd slide. I wouldn’t touch a paint brush or can of paint again for 5 years. I revised E.T.

Now, 13 years after the original, I decided to paint it one more time. Not because I needed a better version, but as a homage to the one that started everything.

Crazy what can happen when you just keep going.

We spend our whole lives chasing pieces of paper we collectively agreed have value. We sacrifice time for it. Relationships for it. Peace for it. Some people will lie, steal, kill, or completely lose themselves for it. We lust after it like having enough will finally make us whole… but the funny part?

It isn’t even real.

And somehow, it still controls us.

BAIT.

For so long, I only thought with the mural part of my brain. I’ve had a studio forever, but it was basically a storage space. I’d go there maybe once or twice a month to pick something up or drop something off.

Recently, I made the conscious decision to actually spend more time there, and holy shit… it’s like a completely different part of my brain has awoken from hibernation. My mind has been working overtime thinking about all the dope shit I can create outside the realm of murals.

I have so many ideas right now.

Stay tuned.

This is an @goyardofficial watch holder commissioned by my close friend @m4y00. If you would like to personalize a purse, wallet, watch holder, luggage, etc. Let’s talk!

You can wait until you feel ready.
You can wait until you’re confident.
You can wait until everything lines up perfectly.

Or you can make it fucking happen. by @aakabo
