took an amazing leap of faith!

I came to the point in my life that there was only one chapter missing to feel fulfill and that was making the decision to get baptized. It was something I’ve always thought about doing but never fully understood what it meant.

As I take this new step in my life I want to thank my amazing pastors who were able to encourage me to grow my relationship with the Lord. I wouldn’t have asked anyone else to baptism me. They truly are the best example of Gods love.

And as my old self dies and I live in Christ. I hope that anyone who encounters me can feel the love of Jesus. I wouldn’t be where I am today without his love so I want to spread it as much as I can.

He didn’t say the journey was going to be easy but he did say it will be worth it! ✝️🤍 by @aalayah3

Felt all the emotions, God, you are so good! I felt so deeply loved on this special day. I couldn’t thank my family and friends enough for always making me feel so special. I wouldn’t have been able to do it without you all by my side. Thank you, Jesus, for all you’ve done and for blessing me with people who uplift me, push me, and help me become a better person every day.

Mom and Dad, I can’t thank you both enough for giving me the opportunity to be where I am today. You have always put me and my siblings first when it comes to our dreams. I see all of the sacrifices you’ve made to ensure we have the best life possible. I thank God every day for giving me amazing parents who have instilled so much into the woman I am today.

Mimi, you are the best grandmother I could ever ask for and Taylor, my little guardian angel on earth. You both have been there for me in so many unimaginable ways. You both make me laugh until I cry and support me when I need it most.

To my little siblings & Maddie (because you’re basically a sister to me), as much as I’m your bossy big sister I want you all to know how deeply I love you. There is not a single thing in this world I wouldn’t do for you. Everything I do in life is to be the best role model I can be for you all. Maddie, I’m so grateful for our friendship you truly are one of a kind with the love you give to the world.

I thank God every day for my circle of people. Not everyone was able to be there, but they always show up for me in the little moments, and that’s when it truly counts. To my Papa, who was able to walk with me across the stage in spirit none of this would be possible without you either. You always taught me to keep going when things got hard, and that’s why I wanted to carry a piece of you with me.

Competed at Nationals for the last time. It was definitely emotional. We laughed nearly the whole time, cried and screamed a couple times😂. This team has taught me so many things about myself. From being called the elderly of the team (I don’t think I’ve ever been called old more in my life😭) to being treated like a big sister this team will forever hold a place in my heart.

Each of you have played a special role in making my cheerleading journey memorable. The bonds we’ve formed from all the hard work we put in I will cherish for a lifetime. My advice for all my cheer babies is appreciate it now cause it goes by fast.
