People told me that 2 days carni will knock me out, I said, Nahhh, I’ll be fine. Listen - I ain’t gonna talk big again 😂 but seriously the last weekend was one for the books! It was my first time ever at carnival, and to top it off, I had the honour of sharing tunes at the Sir Lloyd stage with some wicked DJs and a banging crowd.

Hiya xoxo so gassed to announce my guest for tomorrow’s show! His tracks have been on heavy rotation and his sound continues to inspire me. @realnineteen05 is a DJ, producer, and founder of @formercityrecords , active in the electronic music scene since 2010. Known for his signature blend of Booty Bass, Ghetto Tech, and funky club sounds, he has released numerous records under different aliases and built an international following through his productions and DJ sets.
Since founding Former City Records in 2017, he has established the label as a respected platform for forward-thinking underground music. His career has taken him across the United States, with multiple sold-out shows in Los Angeles, San Diego, New York City, Atlanta, and beyond.

We’re excited to announce berlin based Coco Calypso. Coco Calypso crafts high-energy underground sets that bridge Afro-diasporic sounds with deconstructed club beats and bass-driven electronics. Her sound weaves together Afro-Caribbean and Latin rhythms with raw electronic textures, R&B, rap, and the influence of UK soundsystem culture. Shaped by a roots in Martinique and childhood between Paris and London, her musical identity carries a strong diasporic pulse, drawing from carnival traditions, dancehall, grime, techno, and global club hybrids to create a layered, dynamic sonic language.
Beyond her DJ sets, she has also stepped into her own vocal expression with the release of her latest single “Lips,” driven by infectious Bouyon rhythms and featuring her own lyrics + vocals.

After we’ve already had the pleasure at Twinvites VOL 1, we welcome back pschukk: Sophia co-runs coppi, a space and collective in the east of Berlin. She co-hosts coppi Brunch on THF Radio and is part of the xcuse:u collective.
With her being on opening duties for this one expect a dancefloor-dedicated ride through percussive grooves, wonky turns, and playful spins, with just enough teasing, to get things moving...

Hamburg-based aaliana delivers high-energy club music through a genre-fluid blend of 140, grime, breakbeats, and uptempo electronics. Following a „rhythm first, no boundaries“ philosophy, she seamlessly fuses heavy basslines with sharp selections to craft engaging sets.
