Hey! I’m Aaliyah Rahman and I’m a Content Marketing Associate at Content Connect. I double as a law student during the day like Hannah Montana although I doubt I’m having the best of both worlds 😂

What do you double as? 👀 by @aaliyarha

did this because I refused to succumb to illness-borne boredom. one of the worst things about being sick is how unproductive you become, great day to say Alhamdulillah for great health. what are you grateful for today? by @aaliyarha

fasting and writing exams should count as an extreme sport but I’d do it again. how would you stay sane if you had to fast during your finals? by @aaliyarha

on the 25th of April 2026, i alongside the LLD’26 planning committee made history by executing a gender-based violence awareness outreach. we walked to Iwaya market and Sabo markets and used the one of the most powerful things we had; our voices ❤️ by @aaliyarha

ik it’s not raining but allow me this moment of delusion, I have a point to make.

there is something quietly devastating about friendship. not in the way people write about heartbreak, with its noise and its receipts. friendship ends softer. it ends in unreturned texts and plans that became “we should really do this sometime” and then became nothing. it ends without a funeral, which is the cruelest part because you are left grieving something the world does not have a word for.

and yet.

and yet there is a person who, on a rainy Tuesday morning, will not ask why. will not say “ugh, it’s so early” and leave you on read. will simply say ‘where are we going?’ and order the pancakes before you even sit down. and in that moment, you understand that friendship, real friendship, is not a feeling. it is a practice. a verb dressed in a noun’s clothing.

Chimamanda once wrote about the danger of a single story. I think about that with people how we receive love in highlight reels but forget that community is built in the Tuesday mornings. the unremarkable ones. the rainy, syrup-sticky, nowhere-to-be ones.

we are out here wanting villages but refusing to be villagers. wanting people who show up but not wanting to be the one who shows up first. wanting warmth but keeping our hands cold.

so here is the thing I keep learning, slowly, like someone who does not like being taught:

you have to be a villager to have a village.
you have to be the pancake person. you have to be the one who says I’ll come before you fully know the plan. you have to offer yourself not perfectly, not all the time but genuinely. consistently. like rainfall. like Tuesday.

the friendships that hold you are the ones you chose to hold first.

i loved my internship experience so much and I want to go back 😔 by @aaliyarha

the way some people treat sunscreen reapplication as optional… the audacity 😂

it got me thinking though; what is one propaganda everyone seemed to believe that you can never fall for?
