Evolution of an Archive Piece 🧵🚀
This jacket carries multiple lives as so its seams 😉😜

It started as thrifted denim, graphic tees, and raw scraps hand-stitched into a custom patchwork layout (Swipe to see Phase 1).

But I knew the story wasn’t finished.
I deconstructed those garments, repurposed the graphic art panels, and rebuilt the entire structure into this 1-of-1 oversized reconstructed jacket.

Every sleeve panel, distressed edge, and stitched layer was placed with pure intention.

You are looking at dozens of hours of trial, deconstruction, and artistic obsession. A true piece of wearable HERstory that can neva be replicated !!!🌀

Before the jacket was even a thought, there was this original quilted & patched denim piece. Hours of hand-stitching, panel work, and testing fabrics. We had to build this foundation first just to have the raw materials to tear down and reconstruct into the final piece.

Fast forward to now, and these original panels were torn down, re-imagined, and sewn directly into the 1-of-1 reconstructed jacket

Crazy seeing how the vision evolved from these early experiments all the way into the reconstructed archive pieces dropping today.
