If you’re new here, I’m Aamna.

I trained as an accountant, spent years trusted with other people’s money, and somehow still lose my own card most weeks.

I’m mum to two kids, one of them Type 1 diabetic, which means insulin, blood sugar checks, and hospital appointments are just part of our normal now.

I’m the eldest daughter too, which means I’ve been the reliable one since before I understood what that meant. First call in an emergency, the one who organises everything, the one who was never really asked if I could handle it, I just did.

Add ADHD into that mix and somehow I’m running multiple income streams while still doing the school run, the housework, the client work, and trying to actually be present for my family, not just physically there.

I’m not perfect at any of it. I forget things, I lose things, I redo things I already did once. But I get it done, and I’ve built a life around working with my brain instead of against it.

I never planned to build this. Life kind of forced my hand.

My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes with no warning. Suddenly insulin, blood sugar checks, and hospital appointments were just part of daily life.

Then my husband ended up back in hospital too. I remember doing the maths in my head mid conversation with a doctor. One income, one health scare, and everything we’d built could have shifted overnight.

Neither of those things asked permission first. They just happened.

That’s when it hit me. Being good at my job, being trusted with other people’s money, none of that was ever going to protect us the way I thought it would.

So I built something else. Not because I wanted more, because I needed a backup plan before I needed one.

This is why I do what I do. I help women build income on the side, something that’s theirs, before life throws something at them too.

You never know what’s coming. I didn’t either.

Nobody asks if she’s busy.
They just send the screenshot or the link then want it booked, paid for and organised
Add ADHD to the mix and it’s likely to be booked but the date will@be wrong, and the wrong location will be in the calendar…but the job is done 💪🏽😅

Happy Birthday!

May you always be blessed with health and happiness

It’s been a tough couple of years but she definitely takes on the challenges better than we do

The strength and emotional intelligence she has is far bring her years

She can still be a total pain but she’s caring, kind hearted and stronger mentally than many adults

Corporate accountant in London. Had my daughter and never went back. Built my own practice, then something I never planned. Here I talk about money the way an accountant sees it. Bank statements, tax returns, and the assumptions that keep sensible people stuck.
