I always loved how fun some shoujo magazines look like and, for a few days I was thinking “why not draw my characters in a shoujo magazine style?!”

Not gonna lie, I feel that it could have had more stuff on it (given these covers are usually very maximalist) but I’m happy with how it turned out 🤩

Let me know what you guys think - and yes, the song is Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun’s (my little monster) opening 🤭🤭

Episode: Rio2C | Pitching Talent 🎞️

Usually I don’t post content like this here BUT I have to make an exception because this… this very important - actually last week was a very important week for me HAHAHA

[ENGLISH BELOW]

Meet Vanya! (Or “Conheça Vanya!” in Portuguese) is a project born during the pandemic, had its first development during my time at Vancouver Film School and, last week, was presented at the Rio2C 2026 Pitching Talent!

It was certainly a very special moment and a big step for this project and its future. I learned so much and met wonderful people that I admire in the animation industry.

I’m very grateful for this opportunity and I can’t wait to go on more events like this!

Thank you Rio2C and thank you all who were watching the pitch and for giving this project a chance!

Big thanks to @_vibis_ (@_vibis_art) for the pictures and for recording 🫶🏼

I got new markers for my birthday and now I want to use them for everything hehehe Today was Maou’s turn to get a portrait done - although it was just a quick sketch

Sorry for the video quality, the light was so bad and I tried to fix it - but I think I made it worst…
