MEMBER SPOTLIGHT ✨ Meet Alison Antelman

Mesmerized by the spectacular colors, textures, and forms of the New Mexico landscape, Alison creates one-of-a-kind jewelry from her well-lit Santa Fe studio — and has been doing so for over 30 years.

Her work spans oxidized silver, 18 and 22k gold, and an extraordinary range of stones: watermelon tourmaline, Peruvian opal, lightning ridge black opal, Uvarovite druzy, rose cut aquamarine and diamond. Each piece is a study in color, texture, and form.

Alison exhibits and sells nationally through galleries, craft shows, and her studio. Her jewelry is published in myriad print and online media. She writes, lectures, mentors, and teaches workshops.

On MAG: “MAG is foundational in the entirety of my jewelry arts career. Early on it provided networking and guidance. As a board member editing the newsletter and eventually becoming President, I was immersed in our metal arts world. MAG continues to be beneficial by providing connections in our artistic community.”

What a lovely visit to #portlandmaine We walked many miles and explored #foodcultures Living landlocked I was happy to #eatlocalseafood❤️ Delicious bakeries and oddly a part of the Berlin Wall sat on a dock- It was also wonderful to disengage from daily biz, although new ideas are always brewing. I’m not yet home a week and tomorrow I’ll be at #santafeartistsmarket #artistslife It was a successful trip and it’s good to get back to the studio.
