But then I realised this is exactly the kind of story that needs to be on my feed. For the record. Less for the humblebrag (Oh, don't worry, I am a big show-off) but mostly for the version of me in 2016, who thought this was never possible.

Gratitude journaling. Wrote it in a freezing city park. Perfected it in a blanket. So it has both my rigor and warmth. What's what, go figure.

This is to acknowledge the people and processes that pushed me towards one of the major milestones of my life. It wasn't just me. These are the people you haven't seen in my trip photos so far. These are the processes that have dictated a lot of my words these days. Today's their stage.

One of the busiest, haziest, craziest birthdays. Been working for the most part but I intend to reclaim this day. Not tomorrow, or the coming weeked. But the entire year. I intend to channelise as much joy as my birthday brings to me. Here's to the special feeling, a little longer.

Doodling after a while. Mainly because I found a cute cloud floating past. And secondly because I wish to retain (and reinforce) my real skill sets in the age of artificial intelligence.

Anddddd thirdly because I'm done aesthetically curating and carefully shortlisting 'good enough' posts. Back to randomness. Back to life.

Today Adiya turns 4. And hence, it's time for another letter.

I think about this letter throughout the year. Thinking what to share with her from the current timeline that she'd truly value later. I usually start writing, scribbling points a week prior. This letter took me 9 days.

I still don't think it's perfect. There's so much more to say. But then, that's life.

Perhaps I'll start writing the next one a bit sooner. But then, I don't wish time to fly past so fast. Let's hold on. Dheere dheere rey mann.

What you seek is seeking you. But where do you find them, the answers? Mostly within. I found this song at a time of a similar introspection. When nothing seemed to be going right. When everything felt like a hazy blur. And those dialogues that happen with the self, during the lonely hours of the night, this song captures that feeling.

I'm still learning how to face the camera but this song, by @faheemuddinhunzai @imran_hunzai @zulfiqarjkhan @humnavaworld and their wonderful team, made me speak my heart howsoever awkward this may look. 🙈
