📝 Pro tip for shiftiness: Make sure you really step (low) while changing direction!!! If you want the defender to commit… YOU need to really commit to the move!

Introducing the seventh of our incredible presenting coaches at our 9th Annual Basketball Coaches Clinic: Coaches Aaren Edmean & Solomon Choi of Narrowgate Training.

Narrowgate is a conceptual skill development training company and AAU program based out of Long Island, New York that has served 200+ student-athletes since it’s inception.

Over the last several years, Narrowgate Training has been dedicated to the development of student-athletes who aspire to play college basketball and has helped develop several players that have been recognized as All-County/All-League/All-State level performers for their respective High School programs. Most notably, both Aaren and Solomon have played a pivotal role in the development of 2025 CAA Rookie of the Year and Tournament MVP, Preston Edmead. Preston had an incredible freshman season in which he led Hofstra to a CAA Championship and had a strong performance against Alabama in the NCAA Tournament.

We are absolutely honored to have Coaches Edmead & Choi share the game with us on Monday October 12th - so register today to lock in your learning and prepare for the upcoming season!

Preston was home for just 1 week before heading back to North Carolina this past weekend. While his mornings were spent training with his older brother Aaren, his afternoons were spent with Ralph Rossetti and his team of highly capable trainers, all good current or past college players in their own right. High energy, high paced environment with a ton of live looks.. Ralph’s dynamic workout pairs extremely well with Preston’s playstyle. Thank you for the great work and the words of wisdom @ralph_rossettibasketball8 and good luck to @press._ ! People have doubted you every step of the way in your journey.. now they’re wondering if you can be an effective player in the ACC. You already know what we’re thinking at both Narrow Gate and Rossetti Basketball. Go show the world how special you are 🦾 by @aarense_

Hello all,

We would like to thank everybody’s support during our first year of operation as basketball training and development coaches. It is with great excitement that we are announcing the launch of our very own AAU program NARROWGATE. We believe this is a great way to consolidate game-play practices, individualized and group training, and league/tournament exposure and opportunities for the next level. With Aaren’s Division 1 and professional training experience and Solomon’s passion for connecting kids to higher level learning institutions, we hope to help the next generation of young student athletes!

Please stay tuned for information regarding tryouts in the next few days! by @aarense_
