I want to thank everyone who has put time into my career and helped make this possible for me. Four years ago, I never would’ve thought I’d be in the position to make this post.

A huge thank you to Dekalb Wrestling Club for all the opportunities they’ve given me throughout all the ups and downs. I couldn’t have asked for a better program to help get me where I am today.

Another thank you to Coach McGinness for giving me the opportunity to be a part of Simpson. I’m excited for this next chapter. by @aariannabloyd

🟠 Sports Illustrated | Final 2026 National Girls Wrestling Rankings 🗓️ 7/30/26 ⚫️

(SR.) Aarianna Bloyd | DeKalb High School (IL) | #24 IN THE NATION 🇺🇸 | 207 LBS

Ari stepped onto the mat for the first time on the first day of her freshman season and wrestled her first official matches at the IHSA Geneseo Girls Sectional, finishing 0–2.

Since that first day, she has put in countless hours learning, improving, and seeking out high-level competition. She has earned everything she’s accomplished up to this point through her commitment to the sport and willingness to keep getting better.

She is excited to start training WFS full-time at Simpson College with an awesome coaching staff in Indianola, Iowa.

The DeKalb Wrestling family is extremely proud of you, Ari, and we can’t wait to continue supporting you at the next level. ⚡️👀🐅
