Narrative Painting Final!!
Within the Saree, oil on canvas, triptych — 5 ft x 5 ft, 2 ft x 2 ft, 2 ft x 2 ft, 2025.

This painting is about highlighting the strength, softness, and complexity of South Asian women. It’s an ode to all the South Asian women I know—those who raised me, loved me, shaped me. Through gesture, fabric, and form, this work honors their presence and stories, held quietly and powerfully within every fold of the saree. by @aarjunshodhan
