#69th in the World 💥

All I have to say about this race is I am beyond blessed to have this opportunity. Throwing down at the world stage at one of the hardest enduros I’ve done. Nine hours start to finish, 45 minutes of brutal, physical, pedally aaa stages. 6,000 up and 40 miles around this course was a beast. Crashes and flats aside it was a dream come true racing alongside long-time friends, idols, and fresh faces at this legendary venue.

I think I’m ready for a long winter’s nap now. Catch me at the races next year.

Dadcam POV: Finale Ligure Enduro World Champs

🇺🇸 World Champs Ready 🇺🇸

Feels unreal being out here, the scene, the tracks, the riders. Putting on the Team USA jersey is such an honor.

I am beyond grateful for everyone who helped make this happen, from my friends and coaches back in high school NICA who believed in me. Who fostered me as a young rider. The parents and fellow competitors who helped me get to races, showed me the ropes, and lent a helpful hand when I did not know the way.

Thankful for my friends and competitors with @racecascadia who have kept the stoke alive year after year. Fostering a community that helped me and others get to this global stage.

I have no expectations for this race, just to ride my damn bike and have a great time. Maybe next time in Italy I’ll just smoke a cig and chill by the med (; by @aaron.bailey_55

Sometimes you give it everything you have and still fall short.
But that’s why we keep coming back, to find our limit, see where we stack up, and to celebrate each other.

This race meant a lot to me, as a local I put a lot of pressure on myself to perform. Prove that I am capable of winning on the trails I know better than anyone. I found myself with a narrow lead for most of the day, slowly losing ground one corner at a time. Going into the final stage with a margin of 1.5 seconds, a situation I had never been in before.

I will never forget staring at the beginner women’s screen for what felt like an eternity, waiting for the results of my category to show. Heart in my throat, eyes dilating, waiting to see.

Congratulations to @maxclarkmtb for a truly wonderful display of bike riding. It hurts to lose, but it feels good to see a friend win.

Long Live Enduro
