Setting up for Primer…

With a tap of the floor everything is blocked with P180 and finished sanding with P240,
Then it’s time to get everything set up and ready for primer.
If only it was this quick in real life…

Repairing the Damage part 2…

It’s on to the wings, getting the damaged area sanded down with P80 before I start to apply some ProXL Gold Plus Fillers, but before I apply my fillers, I mark out my Spot Welds so I can add them back in after I have done the filling,
Then it’s a good coat of ProXL Primer on the areas I’ve repaired, I’ve mixed it 5:1 for extra build.
and just like that, it’s ready for blocking down. Again…

Repairing the Damage…

It’s on to the wings, getting the damaged areas knocked out on both wings,
Nothing else for it but down onto the floor and start banging it with a hammer,
Then sanding down with P80 before I start to apply some ProXL Gold Plus Fillers, and just like that, that’s one done….

Prepping the Wings…

It’s on to the wings, I give them a good clean down using ProXL Panel Wipe and a Red scotch pad,
Then it’s on to the Sanding, I am using the P180 from SIA Abrasive, all these items are available at All OneStop Outlets…
On the Inside of the wings I’ve used Tar and Glue Remover, the followed by the panel wipe,

Starting on the panels…

Now that the body is finished and gone,
it’s time to Start on the Panels.
Cleaning, Sanding, Masking, All in one video.
Cleaning with ProXL Panel wipe with Red Scotch
Sanding with SIA Abrasive P180 & P400
Masking with Q1 High Performance Masking tape.
