Mister Man, Bubba, Tubby. My best friend. I enjoyed every single second I got to be your person. This week my best guy took a bad turn, and he decided it was to time for him to go. He crossed peacefully this morning. The strongest dog I’ll ever know. He fought cancer off twice. He was a brave boy, so he tried to fight this time too, but he’s been through a lot in his life and was just too tired.

Everyone who knew him adored him. I will miss all the moments we shared more than I can explain. Elevator rides to go outside, him standing at my feet hoping I drop a bite, curling up next to me on the couch, car rides in his blue car seat. So much more. It’s going to feel so empty around here. He was a mischievous man, and such a good boy.

Now, he is reunited with my mom and Pebbles. Him being near made it feel like a piece of my mom was near too. Thank you, Bam Bam ❤️

More highs, more lows, more hugs, more giggles, more struggles, more sunsets, more medals, more travels, more homies, more life.
I have gone back and forth deciding whether 2025 was a good or bad year. In truth, it was some of both. And it was beautiful, because that’s how it’s supposed to be. More Life in 2026 🔜 by @aaron_wendel

If the function isn’t at the corner of Onderdonk Av & Himrod St, I’m not coming. I love Bush(wick).

Quick one to NYC to make more memories with homies. And to watch Chris Smith run and get sweaty. by @aaron_wendel

I joke around a lot on here, but I wanna be serious for a second. I love to run, but I’m not gonna lie, this race broke my spirit a bit. I’ve been very ambitious with running, but as a diabetic, I’ve found there is an inherent ceiling to how well I can do with the marathon. I’m not done running. There will be more challenges and goals, but I’m not sure what that looks like yet. I’m trying to keep it all in perspective and stay positive. I’m so grateful for my friends who are there to lift me up. They mean the world.

I’m so happy for everyone who finished on Sunday and/or met their goals. You deserve all the successes.

Don’t forget to smile.

The one where @runtoohard flies through the @htcrelay. I was blessed to bag some miles and spend time in Oregon this weekend with a bunch of close friends 🫂 🦬

Portland, Oregon, was named after Portland, Maine, after a coin toss in 1845 between founders Asa Lovejoy (who wanted to name it after his hometown of Boston) and Francis Pettygrove (who favored Portland, Maine). Pettygrove won the “best two out of three” coin toss and the naming rights, leading to the city being named Portland. The Portland Penny is now on display at the Oregon Historical Society. by @aaron_wendel
