Pretty pumped on this one just quietly. Grant came to me with a problem of being peppered with rocks and mud on his bowhead, so after a 3d scan, render on the Mac, printing an internal ABSGF core and wrapped in 3 layers of 240gsm carbon we’ve found a solution. All made and designed in house here in Lonsdale. 🤝 we now have this mould available, contact @grantallenbikerider at @pushmobility to get yours! #fabrication #carbon #composite #3dprinting #blackflagcustom by @aaron_yo01

On the theme of posting old cool shit. Here’s a cluster of cables coming out, internal DAQ was unreal to achieve. But holy fuck did it suck to work on 😂 best part about it was we could reliably race this system. So we could capture race run data instead of just practice runs.. by @aaron_yo01

Wind back to a moment in time I couldn’t really believe. @aarongwin1 posted this pic day 1 of me being a pro mech. I didn’t know it at the time but the other dude in this pic @juanhall taught me the importance of critical thinking and how to sink a couple beers while lacing wheels. He also introduced me to Cali reggae and that listening to Taylor swift was nothing to be ashamed of. I had zero fuckin clue what I was doing, but somehow managed to fake my way into a pretty sweet career 😂 by @aaron_yo01

Guess this is ok to post considering it’s on the internet already! Val di sole testing in 2022, figuring out what was going to be the current sender..! Pretty cool to look back on. by @aaron_yo01

Story Time!!!! I got this bike from @canyon_mtb in March 2024, since I got it I have ridden it over 10,000km. I have gone through 3 drivetrains, 6 front tyres, few sets of grips. But aside from that, it’s been absolutely bomb proof. Not once have I touched the DT Swiss wheelset. I had one motor bolt come loose about 1/4 of a turn, but I have never rebuilt the frame or touched a linkage.. few updates on the motor and it still goes hard. I upgraded to a zeb, code brakes and a reservoir super deluxe cause I was out riding what it’s intended use is (it’s a trail bike 😬) I constantly clap the rear shock, it’s custom tuned, is full on volume spacers (plus something else I was messing around with) so I can’t do much there. The Contact points from the man behind @burgtec @burgtec_dc are the absolute bees knees still. My daughter and I ride this bike together nearly every day. And I ride it as much as I can. What a bike ey! by @aaron_yo01

I’ve got a bit of an interest in DH tech again so I wanted to share what I think was one of the most worked bikes @troybrosnan and I ever had happening. There’s a bunch of other cool bikes but this one was for sure a fav!
Also probably one of the more heart breaking days results, 2nd to last rider down went 2 secs faster than @amaurypierron4 only to have @loicbruni29 sneak ahead by 0.5 … racings hard! Il never forget coming down the hill that day and loic apologising to me haha, we had a lot of good battles but loic kept getting the better that year by .0 of a second every time. Gets old when you work hard for it but that’s life!

MSA 2019
size L extended Headset cups (I think +8 from memory?) we had to grind the inside of the carbon head tube out to fit the steerer tube in…
Custom internals in the shock and fork (this was pre blackbox making its return so it was all my designed and tested stuff which was pretty cool)
Custom brake swing link
We figured out some pretty cool stuff with wheels, different spoke thicknesses and count. As well as different material nipples for flex attributes.
Custom rear end length and stiffness
Internal ballast weight
This bike had internal DAQ also (not
Pictured) with G force sensors, lean angles, brake forces and a bunch of other cool stuff. by @aaron_yo01

How much electronics can you fit in a pelican case? Custom made from the inside out. Live stream box with independent wifi, auto mains/battery changeover switch, auto temperature controlled and packaged to be put on a conveyor belt and not worry.
