50 miles! I fkn did it!! 6 months ago after getting hurt in aspen bad. I was sitting on the couch and decided I’m coming back from this injury the strongest I’ve ever been. Decided 5 days after the injury still laid up on the couch I was going to do my first ultramarathon. I called one of my childhood best friends @james__beltz and said sign up for this you’re doing it with me. With the help or Pat Oneill, @jmahoney.14, @morganmcnallie, my mom and dad @stemslisa and @michael_blunck , my in-laws @hcussimanio and @tcussimaniomtb and @cmahoney_images I made it!! That was the single hardest thing I’ve ever done. Battled an IT band issue the last 4 weeks, it flared up mile 7 out there. Mentally I felt strong, happy and clear. Physically I thought I was gunna die. To all the people I met out there on the trail shared a laugh with and helped give me motivation to get through thank you! Love you all and happy to say I finished a 50 mile running race! by @aaronblunck
