⛰ So this means a lot to me... No, this isn’t my favorite photo ever. You could say that this isn’t the most difficult photo to take, and I would agree! I do love it though, for a specific reason! Backstory: This was taken in Yellowstone when I went to visit for New Years. My dad and I were driving around just checking out the scenery. We stopped for a bit to look around and I took this photo. It took 3 minutes max, and we were back driving! Fast forward about a month, and this photo (blown up to a 16x24, slightly different from what you see here) is now framed and hung up to be the first thing you see when you enter into my home. That is what means the most to me! I’ve been here. This is my framing. These are my abilities through a lens. This is what I stay up late thinking about and perfecting to the best of my ability. Goodness.. it means so much to me, and I can’t believe this is where I’m at now. All of this just to say thank you. If you’ve supported me in some form over the years, you are appreciated! If I’ve photographed your wedding, taken your senior photos, helped you with product shots, whatever it might be.. you have helped me get to where i am now. Anyways.. I’m just a few steps away from opening up shop to sell my prints and have other people get some appreciation for what I work so hard for! More information on that will be coming soon. 28 years YOUNG 👨🏼‍🦳

I think this deserves a bit of a life update, so here ya go! About a year ago I left my job at Honda to pursue a different career, and took a leap of faith in a direction I knew nothing about. Since then I’ve traveled the country a bit, sold basically everything that I owned, and lived as simple as I possibly could. During so, I learned that I would much rather have immense happiness each and every day over a higher number in the bank account. Those CAN coexist, it just didn’t at that time in my life. I’ve learned that choosing myself isn’t selfish, and other people around me will benefit from that. I learned that my story and journey will look differently than others, and that’s okay. Most importantly, I’ve learned that I am so loved, by so many! I’m so thankful for that leap of faith. So now I live in Cypress, and attend a church (COF) nearby, where I serve on their media/production team! I’ve joined a small group there that I’m sure will change my life over the course of the next several months / years / however long God has me there. I have great friends in my life, I work for a great company, and I’m genuinely happy! I’m looking forward to what this next year has for me. My desire for my life this year can be summed up in just two words, and it’s simply to live sent. To follow where God is leading me, living sent, wherever I go. Love y’all by @aaronevans.ig

Posting this simply because when I see this photo, I see God. I see the beauty that could only come from a perfect creator. “I lift up my eyes to the Mountains. Where does my help come from? Here’s a handful of short clips from our recent trip to Hot Springs for July 4th! We went hiking, ate entirely too much ice cream, but most importantly I got to spend some much needed time away with my wonderful beautiful lovely amazing wife!! I’m so lucky!!
