When the traitors called, the opportunity to live on the dark side was too good to refuse, albeit mildly terrifying.

Buckle up New Zealand, this devilish game is chaos and paranoia at its absolute finest. The ultimate game of lies, deception and betrayal.

I hope you’re all ready, I am! 🔪

Starts Sunday 31 May on @threenewzealand and ThreeNow.

Anything is possible🫶

In 2000, aged just 16, @aaronflemingnz faced a life-altering challenge when he underwent major lung surgery – twice. Doctors advised him that he would never be able to physically exert himself again…today, he became an IRONMAN World Championship finisher ❤️

Ironman World Championship
10 October 2026
Kailua-Kona, Hawaii 🇺🇸

For nearly three years I’ve been focussed on this single day - to race at the biggest stage of this sport. A dream that has taken grit, self belief and determination to realise. Lining up with the best endurance athletes in the world representing New Zealand with pride.

The race is absolutely brutal. The lava field heat, and the famous Kona winds take their toll. The goal was to finish, and I did.

Racing Kona closes a chapter on my international Ironman racing. From Lake Placid, Australia, Malaysia, UK, Brazil, South Africa, France and now Hawai’i - I’ve seen the world with this sport over two decades of racing. But the bike bag will be staying in New Zealand from now on.

Thank you to @ironmantri @ironmannz for the most amazing experience you have provided me. Becoming an Ironman Ambassador in 2025 is definitely a highlight.

Thank you to @airnz who backed my Kona dream by flying me to Hawai’i. Dreams do come true!

Thank you to Mum and my sister Cathy who have been incredible this past week in Kona. I was emotional on race morning having my family there with me to share this special memory with.

To everyone who has backed me and has been part of this fight with me, from my partner, friends, my work, and the wider Ironman community - Mahalo 🌺

What an incredible experience Kona has been. I have more finish lines to chase yet. Watch this space…

Ironman World Championships 2026, Kailua-Kona Hawai’i.

I’ve got a job to do tomorrow. 3.8km swim, 180km cycle, 42.2km run in the Hawaiian heat and wind. I’ll be laser focussed on getting to that finish line.

The world’s best endurance athletes are here, with a 30 strong New Zealand team.

Now it’s time. To tackle my 23rd Ironman on the world’s biggest triathlon stage.

Mahalo. See you at the finish line.

Race week at the World Championships in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i.

A dream 21 years in the making. Huge thanks to @airnz for helping this dream to take flight.

This will be my 23rd Ironman, but the last one I’ll travel overseas for. It’ll be special, it’ll be emotional, it’ll be tough.

It’s time to dance on the biggest stage the world has to offer.
