If you’re looking for adventure around the Gold Coast or Brisbane area you NEED to visit the Mount Maroon Caves! ⛰️

The Mount Maroon Caves is a 1.5 hour drive from Gold Coast and Brisbane in the Scenic rim region. This hike took us around 3-4 hours to complete and it’s a 2.9km out and back trail. To get to the caves, park up at the Mount Maroon carpark and follow the usual trail as if you were climbing Mount Maroon. MAKE SURE to download the offline map on AllTrails because the chances of you getting lost are VERYYY high since the trail can disappear sometimes, thank me later 🥲 There are arrows and markers along the way to help guide you but I can’t stress enough to try your best and follow the map! After a bit of bush bashing and rock scrambling you’ll reach the caves where you’ll be absolutely blessed with stunning views of the Scenic Rim 🍃

Make sure to bring some snacks and plenty of fluids so you can enjoy yourself at the caves. It’s honestly an unreal experience and I know you guys will love it!! 🥪💧

Make sure to do your research before sending this too, and stay safe legends!! 🫡

Here’s my current top 3 favourites hikes to do South East Queensland!

📍The Steamers

This one we definitely a slog up hill for the first bit, it also includes a bit of exposed climbing up a short rocky ridge so be careful when doing this. Views at the end make the hike so worth it! We also avoided the Gympie Gympie section when doing this 🤝

📍Mount Mitchell

Super fun and fairly easy hike to do, perfect for a quick weekend day mission, views are unreal at the top as well!

📍Mount Maroon

Probably my favourite mountain to do out of them all, super fun hike up and will definitely give you a good leg workout. Views at the top are insane with 360 views of the Scenic Rim. Would recommend doing this for sunrise / sunset too!

Can’t say I’ve ever stayed at a camping spot in the shape of a heart before, how cool is this!

If you’re looking for some of the best views in the scenic rim, plenty of space for a large groups and toilets onsite, you need to stay at this camping spot 🏕️

Just spent a crazy 24hr mission camping and exploring on the Jetski’s⚡️

I’ve always loved doing these kind of sends so why not start posting more of it. So I’m starting this new mini series: Bucket List Missions! These are the type of adventures I’ve alwaysss loved doing, the ones that almost never go to plan but when you look back you say “fk yeah we did that!”

If you’re looking for your next weekend escape this off grid tiny home is a must stay! 🏕️

This is honestly the perfect place to switch off and disconnect from everything. The cabin runs completely off solar, and comes with all the essentials such as a kitchen, bathroom with a toilet, shower and a large cosy bed. The outside area was definitely our favourite as it comes with a heated bath and a fire pit where you can cook up some mean steaks!
