Backpiece. 7h tattooing 🌪️ ************************ Massive shoutout to all my clients who sit through tattoos like this. If you’re a tattooer or you’ve got a full back piece, you already know what I’m talking about… this is not a walk on the beach. This takes commitment. You don’t just get it, you earn it. That’s why I’ve got nothing but unconditional RESPECT for every single one of you ❤️ And for those thinking about starting your back piece, just know I’ve got you. I’ll be there with you through the whole process, keeping you motivated every step of the way. With your strength and my rhythm, plenty of laughs along the way and the right breaks to hydrate, eat, and reset… we’ll make it happen! Dm if you ready to get yours 💌 Thank you so much dude @kierancasey01 I really appreciate you finishing this beauty 🫶🏼 #traditionaltattoo #tattoo #blackworkers #boldwillhold #classictattoo taken in Sydney, Australia by @aaronprego

A little recap of what the last few days at Popcorn Tattoo have looked like 🍿✨ Celebrating our opening, an amazing flash day, Aaron’s birthday… and, as always, having way too much fun while making some pretty damn good tattoos. Good tattoos, good people, good vibes! That’s pretty much what we’re about. If this feels like your vibe, come hang out with us at the studio. We’ll make you a coffee, give you some fresh popcorn… and if you end up sitting in the tattoo chair, we might just tattoo you too 👀 Walk-ins always welcome. See you at Popcorn! 🍿 #sydneytattoo #tattooshop #tattooartist #behindthescenes taken in Sydney Town Hall by @aaronprego

Some of the amazing tattoos @aaronprego has done at Popcorn Tattoo! 🍿 We absolutely love seeing his traditional style come to life! Bold lines, solid colours and that unmistakable classic look. He’s had such a fun week creating these pieces and, most importantly, having the best time with all of you who came in to get tattooed! If this is your kind of style and you’ve been thinking about getting a piece by @aaronprego , send him a DM directly or get in touch with us at Popcorn Tattoo and we’ll get you booked in. More traditional tattoos, please! ❤️‍🔥 #traditonaltattoo #tradionaltattooartist #traditionaltattooartistsydney taken in Sydney, Australia by @aaronprego

Our studio proudly supplies all of our artists with @lotusneedles We truly believe they’re the best quality cartridges out there, and a brand we trust completely. Great technique is essential, but so is working with the best materials possible: for our artists and, most importantly, for every client who sits in our chairs. When we opened Popcorn, we knew we wanted to provide our artists with everything they need to do their best work, so it couldn’t be any other way: Lotus Needles are our studio needle of choice, with our artists supplied with the cartridges they need. Good tattoos start with good artists. Great tattoos deserve great tools. Popcorn Tattoo🍿 × Lotus Needles🪷 #sydneytattoo #tattooshop #tattooartist #tattoos taken in Sydney, Australia by @aaronprego

A closer look at one of @aaronprego latest pieces 🔥🔥🔥 A bold Japanese peony in full colour. We absolutely love the movement, the colour palette and how beautifully it sits on the body. From smaller individual pieces to large-scale tattoos and full compositions, Aaron loves bringing traditional Japanese-inspired designs to life at any scale. If you’ve been thinking about adding some colour to your collection Aaron’s books are open at Popcorn Tattoo 🍿❤️ #traditionaltattoosydney #traditionaltattoo #japanessetattoosydney #peonnytattoo taken in Sydney, Australia by @aaronprego
