At untitled_ 2026 we spent a night celebrating five years of untitled_ on a boat, surrounded by the Chicago skyline and so many of the people who have helped make these first five years what they’ve been.

We looked back. We took in the moment.
But maybe the best part was knowing this is still just the beginning.

The vision is getting bigger. The community is growing. And the future we’ve been talking about building? We’re building it now.

What is built to last often becomes what others build upon.

There are people you will never meet whose lives could be different because of what you choose to build today.

We announced the future of we’re building at Generation Distinct.

It’s bold.

It will require faith we’ve never had before.

And that’s exactly why we’re going after it.

Because we believe a generation is waiting to discover the wrong they were born to make right. We believe cities can be transformed when young leaders are equipped to live on purpose. And we believe the future doesn’t belong to those who wait—it belongs to those who build.

Last year at the @glnsummit I had the immense privilege to have my portrait taken by Jeremy Cowart. He is a leader and creative that has inspired me for years!

Some of his work that is fascinating to check out on his website: RESILIENT LIGHT, LIGHTOGRAPHS, THE PURPOSE HOTEL, and so much more.

@jeremycowart is a creative that thinks outside the box and has inspired so many others. His work goes beyond the traditional norms and creates new paradigms of imagery through his limitless imagination.

Jeremy,

Thank you for the work you do and being a leader that has created purpose out of your faith for a greater future.

One of my favorite quotes from his book “IM POSSIBLE” is this:

“Time after time, I have refused to obey the voice of fear. In fact, I’ve jumped into things my fear was warning me against. And time after time, doing the very thing I was afraid to do had led to incredible possibilities.”

BUILDING THE FUTURE

5 Years of Marriage. 5 Years of ministry together. 5 years of untitled_.

This is the year of Grace and Favor I believe. A year of Grace for what it will take to build the future and favor over the vision that God has put into @hannah.g.barnett and I’s hearts.

From hand drawing drapes over months. To overseeing all creative direction. To building our walk through experience by hand. untitled_ turned out exactly the way I wanted it to.

Hannah, this year tested us. It was a year that the enemy tried to discourage our hands for the work but God strengthened our hands. We refused to get off the wall when the messengers came. I love building this vision and we are just getting started.

Here is to 20 more years of this with you.

You know,

Hard times might come…
Difficulties might show up…
Adversity we will find ourselves in…

But,

There is no one I would rather build this vision with than you Hannah.

The Architect, “Building a generation that builds things that out lives them…” because the future is better when we build for future generations to experience our faithful. Consistent. Jesus centered yes.

God, thank you for your spirit. Watching you work was my favorite part….
