Proper words escape me for what happened yesterday across South Dakota. New top 3 chase of all time for me as I get less than 100 yards from one of the most otherworldly and violent tornadoes that I have ever seen. Unfortunately this tornado absolutely vaporized a house which we came to the aid of and I was able to hobble a victim with a likely broken ankle to a cop car and they were able to get him to a hospital and survive. I didn't even know it was possible for a tornado to do what this one did as it snakes and snaps across the sky

There are some videos in life that you can't believe you took. This is one of them for me. The amount of debris falling on me from Lincoln, NE was a scene I'll never forget. You ready to sponsor us yet @gopro ?

Absolutely unbelievable scenes as thousands upon thousands of gallons of water come roaring down in areas surrounding Hilo, HI! Small waterfalls turned into raging torrents of water and the bridge above Rainbow falls continues to get overtopped by flood waters due to hurricane LaLa

The most intense water rescue I have ever documented that left me audibly gasping as a family works to save their dog from a flooded out camper. Disaster nearly struck as their boat capsized and sent the dog and her into the water. Thankfully the other rescuers held on to the rope attached to the dog and were able to sprint into action and carry the dog to safety while another crew worked to rescue a horse. Devastating flooding here in Arizona.

Another day, more king tide impacts continuing to impact areas of Southern, California including Huntington Beach where hide tides spilled into streets and sent some business and home owners scrambling to put up sandbags to divert water away from getting inside. Meanwhile, crews continue to work extremely hard to build up sand dunes to protect the coastal homes being threatened by the repeated high surf and king tides.

The California coastline is losing around 2 FEET of coast every year. Leaving homes and roads teetering on the edge. The Pier is also severely damaged from the battering of large waves and high tides. #californianews #coastalnews #kingtide #pacifica #extremeweather by @aaronrigsby

Pacifica is losing its coastline…..and now they’re facing yet another king tide that is anticipated to do even more damage

🌊 California’s coastline is disappearing.

In Pacifica, California, powerful waves and elevated water levels from this week’s king tides are battering an already vulnerable coastline, accelerating erosion along cliffs where homes and buildings sit dangerously close to the edge.

Years of coastal erosion have already claimed sections of land here, leaving some structures at risk of eventually collapsing into the Pacific Ocean.

King tides are a natural occurrence, but when combined with powerful surf and ongoing coastal erosion, they offer a dramatic look at the growing challenges facing California’s coastal communities.

🌊 ORANGE COUNTY BRACES FOR POTENTIALLY RECORD-BREAKING KING TIDES!

Along the Southern California coastline, crews and homeowners are racing to protect vulnerable beachfront properties as exceptionally high tides approach.

The coastline has already suffered significant damage from previous storms and powerful surf. In Dana Point alone, seven homes remain red-tagged, with two others already demolished.

Newport Beach has declared a local emergency, while the National Weather Service has issued a Coastal Flood Warning through Thursday, October 29, warning of significant flooding, beach erosion, and potential damage to homes and infrastructure.
