6AM on a Friday morning.

Men from different businesses, different industries, different walks of life coming together for one reason; Jesus.

We open the Word. We talk about what it actually looks like to live it out. We challenge each other. We encourage each other. We laugh. We pray. We build real relationships.

There’s something powerful about being surrounded by men who are passionate about becoming better; not just better in business, but better husbands, better fathers, better leaders, and better men in our communities.

A lot of these guys are leading companies, teams, and organizations every day. But before any title, position, or accomplishment, we’re men who need Jesus.

And what happens in that room at 6AM doesn’t stay in that room.

It impacts how we love our wives.
How we raise our kids.
How we lead our teams.
How we handle adversity.
How we serve people.
How we show up when nobody is watching.

Iron sharpens iron. The Word changes lives. And nobody was meant to do this alone.

14 and a half years of marriage, and I can confidently say marriage is one of the greatest blessings in my life. ❤️

We’ve grown together, built a family, made incredible memories, and learned a lot along the way.

And after all these years, we’re still working on communication. 😂

Apparently, what I said, what I meant, and what she heard can be three completely different things.

It’s easy to pray for growth while holding on to the very things keeping us comfortable.

We ask God for bigger opportunities, greater purpose, and a deeper faith. But sometimes the answer comes through challenges we never would’ve chosen ourselves.

Think about a seed. It has to break open before anything can grow.

Maybe the same is true for us.

Not every uncomfortable season is a setback. Sometimes it’s where God does His greatest work in us.

I’d rather be stretched by God’s purpose than stay comfortable and never discover who He created me to be.

Fatherhood is a lot like reading a book.

Every chapter brings something different.

The sleepless nights. The first steps. The little conversations. The school drop-offs. The growing independence.

And just when you start getting comfortable with one chapter, life turns the page.

I’ve realized you can’t go back and reread these chapters the same way. Once they’re gone, they’re gone.

There’s always going to be work to do, goals to chase, and things that need my attention.

But I don’t want to be so busy preparing for the next chapter that I forget to enjoy the one I’m living.

One day, I’ll wish I could turn back just a few pages.
