There’s something special about bringing a song to life with other musicians. 🎶🌅

Here’s a little performance piece of “The Morning Light” with Shannon MacArthur and Aaron Rochette.

This song is a reminder that no matter what the night holds, it doesn’t last forever. There’s always hope in the promise of a new day. 🙏

Grateful to share this one with you all. ❤️

I wrote Where the Lavender Grows about driving up the @greatriverroad to @lavender_bluff_farm in Stockholm, WI. There's something special about being up on that hill, breathing in the lavender, and looking out at the water.

I hope this song makes you want to take a road trip! 🚗🪻

Thank you Kim @lavender_bluff_farm for inspiring me to write this song. 💜

HUGE thank you to @smcarthu and @aaronrocket as always for working with me. These always start as little recordings on my phone and become something so much better than I could have created on my own.

Thank you to my sister @inallthingscreative for always being my go to cover artist.

And another BIG thank you to Erin @oldriverstories.co for the photos and videography for this song. I'm still blown away.

And if you're reading this, thank YOU for listening and supporting independent music. 🎶🎧

Save it, stream it, share it, sing it. It would mean the world to me! 🌎

Welcome to the world, Ansel Owen Rochotte! Born 9/25/2026 by @aaronrocket

If there’s any two better than the effervescent Dolly Parton and the luminous Chet Atkins to draw inspiration from, I don’t know em. And the room lit up with their vibrant spirit as young Celina TN songstress Cherokee Hope took to singing (with ole @heyuncleb ) and Cousin Seth Taylor and Cousin Ethan Ballinger took to picking a classic Dolly and Chet number called ‘Do I Ever Cross Your Mind?’ - certainly you can feel the magic can’t ya? Lots of it every month on @chiefsbroadway Neon Steeple stage! See ya at next one Oct 28th!
