Wowee, what a weekend proudly supporting the Black Dog Institute and raising a total of $14,213 for mental health. My 100 mile run was completed in a total time of 21:48:17. Without the help of my family and friends none of this would be achievable. I’d like to say a massive thanks to anyone who came down and supported on the day, donated or messaged. A massive shoutout to @element_shopfitting for backing me in from the start and giving their time to help promote the run. Also, a special mention to my girlfriend, Eb, who spent countless hours along side me throughout my training and only remained positive when times got tough. All the support from everyone involved hasn’t gone unnoticed and helped immensely to achieve the end goal!
Thanks to everyone for making a real difference in mental health research and support ❤️ by @aaronshepherd

Hi guys! On the 4th of October I’m planning on running 100 miles, whilst raising money to support the black dog institute.

1 in 5 Australian’s will experience a mental heath condition within the year. So at the end of the day we are all directly or indirectly affected in some way.

The black dog institute aims to improve the lives of those affected by mental illness by servicing free community education, suicide prevention and digital tools.

I’ll be running a 10km loop along the beach path in between Tugun and Kirra. I’ll be starting from 11 am onwards and anyone is welcome to come to join me in running also!

Any contribution big or small will be greatly appreciated and will go a long way towards this great cause.

You can find a link to the foundation in my bio.
