A short but memorable trip to the creek with an old friend & a new one. ♥️

Annunaki is a famous climb that has weighed heavily on my mind ever since my good friend & photographer @adrenalinejerry took a wonderful photo of me climbing on it. At the time I was newer into crack climbing & was not able to do the route, although it seemed possible.

Fast forward a few years, my climbing technique and mental fitness improved but I still felt unsure if I could do the climb.

I planned to warm up on the route, taking rests on my way up. As I climbed up with a calm mind it felt better than expected. One move led to the next and soon I was at the chains.

While I only attempted the route a few times, the importance of it to me made it feel like a project. It’s such a good route that made me appreciate the love I have for my friends, and my own personal growth over the years. by @aaronstrombergart

My amazing friend and photographer @adrenalinejerry captured a wonderful moment of @elianaeroberts & @caleb.franchere that I had to use as a reference photo. While this illustration shows the physicality of climbing, it is secondary to the quiet, meditative, and healing aspects of nature.

The design is available at both @stoneagegym locations along with 3 other new shirts. by @aaronstrombergart

What a crazy weekend!

It started with a wonderful day date with the beautiful @jasminerae_dpt to cliffs, sharing my newly developed climbing area with @newmexicomojo and ended with me completing my climbing goal this year to do 3 of my hardest sport climbs. Loose Cannon ✅

I feel very fortunate for the community & loved ones around me. ❤️ by @aaronstrombergart

First leads in the Creek, first time in American Fork, and 4th Climbing Wall Association Conference. I didn’t know how badly I needed this trip to reinvigorate my love for climbing and the outdoors. Grateful to have done it with such amazing coworkers who I get to call my friends. by @aaronstrombergart
