One year with you!

You have been a light! You have been an image of God through a pillar of clouds and a pillar of fire. Every experience is joy with you, I can’t look at the time we spend together or your character without thanking God! This year has been so full of laughs, smiles, tears of joy, and moments of triumph. Being with you brings me closer to Christ. You will always be worth it.

RYLA sometimes gives me this feeling of being undeserving and unworthy of the gifts, experiences, love and care I have gotten. I owe this staff and these campers all of my love because of the love I have received, but what is made prominent in this group is that it’s not something you have to earn. You don’t have to be capable or accomplished, it’s enough that you’re you. In the process of trying to pour into these students I’m awestruck by the ways they have poured back into me. Thank you RYLA for transforming people that I’ve looked up to and idolized into friends and fellow staff that I can be vulnerable and trusting with.
