POSTS STORIES REELS

October 2026: Returning my dopamine levels to where it can be. A reminder that all my best people are only a phone call or short flight away. by @aashleyhong

Hong Kong, Oct ‘26: My safe space to land. Here you leave today and enter the world of yesterday, tomorrow and fantasy. by @aashleyhong

All good things must come to an end.

For the cast and crew, it was 2 weeks. The audience, 5 weeks. Me? 8.5 months. I have never been more challenged physically, mentally, emotionally and creatively from one single event. What honour to be thrown into the deep ends of a beautiful, messy, chaotic experience, only to come out alive and knowing you’ve been changed for good.

To everyone during post production, especially my editors. Without you, these are just scenes. Words on a paper. Ideas swirling in my head. You have the superpower of translating my direction, generating goosebumps, inducing kilig and making my vision come alive. The real MVPs.

There might be future seasons. Who knows? If there’s enough noise, we’ll have no choice but to give the people what they want. For now, I know I’ll never find a love like this. Not in a million years.

I fell in and out of love with so many things at the same time that it dawned on me - maybe this is my Libra sun banging on the front door, desperate to be let in, welcomed and embraced. Believing that perhaps I can balance it all. I just gotta figure out how to stay consistent because nobody is going to want it as much as you do. Addicted to the allure of new side quests. Learning about the grace to let things go when nature has run its course. It’s been a good one and I can’t wait to see what else is in store. by @aashleyhong

August 2026: Soaking up the sun while training for something monumental. This close to Wingman’s release. The month that slipped away into a moment in time, but there’s always room for matcha. by @aashleyhong

July 26: Embracing summer, finding my happy place at the gym, baking cookies for those who need some sustenance, the ocean & sunflowers, and a new running buddy. by @aashleyhong

夏の日 2026

To do list:
1. Fall in love with this Okayama shade of blue
2. Discover beach huts
3. Beware of jellyfish
4. Collect pretty rocks
5. Always say yes to a dip in the water by @aashleyhong

June 26: Discovering that you can have a million different chapters within a span of 4 weeks. To restart, reaffirm, regroup, realign, reinvent. Most importantly, to return. Learning about the fragility of connections. The test of human nature and how we respond to things that make us uncomfortable. But also, stealing pockets of time to do the things that fill my heart with joy. Hanging out with my moonshine again and being so in love with her everyday. by @aashleyhong

May 26: An endless loop of being stuck at the desk, chasing the sunrise at godforsaken hours, video calls to get by, tiny bursts of joy through flowers. Mugs of tepid coffee. Craving fresh air and relying on pets for comfort. When life gives you edits and you have to ensure your content is consistently entertaining within the allotted running time. Comedy, romance, empowerment, revelations, depth. Squeezing my brain dry to give everything I’ve got. Or die trying. by @aashleyhong

April 26: Running view edition by @aashleyhong

April 26: Desperate for human interactions yet intensely overwhelmed with how much the world requires of you. Reality checks. Hard decisions. Staying where you’re needed. Slow dancing in a burning room. Having a safe space helps. A lot. by @aashleyhong

March 26: Signing an NDA means not being able to give away too much. But nobody can take this experience away from us. Keeping things for the campfire until premiere day. Oh and old habits never really die. by @aashleyhong
