Two people. Two bodies. Two completely different stories. One love for dance.

@dancingsharmila and I haven’t lived the same life. We’ve had different struggles, made different choices and found our way through things people may never see on stage.

She built her own dance school while raising two children, and she’s still dancing in her 40s. I moved out at 24, found my way back to dance and started putting my creativity out into the world.

Dance is where our stories meet. When we dance together, we bring all of it with us: who we were, what we’ve been through and who we’re becoming.

That’s Dvirupa to us. Two people coming together, each fully herself. 🤍

And we’re bringing it back. The second edition of Dvirupa is coming: a full margam, danced our way. Save the date and come be part of our story.

Shoutout to Mathu for these photos! 🤍

I was looking for a photographer who really knows her camera, has a modern eye and could bring my vision to life. She understood the vibe immediately and captured Dvirupa so beautifully. 🥹✨ Thank you @mathumithavasan @aayiram.frames

And thank you to @skylightstudio.zh for making space for us at such short notice. We couldn’t have made this shoot happen without you! by @aayiram.frames

A golden hour filled with love 🤍
Capturing this moment for my brother Mithulan and my sister-in-law Thivya was more than just a shoot, it was a memory close to my heart.
My very first wedding shoot, and one I’ll never forget.

A special shoutout to @dims.tales and @haathee.films for giving me amazing tips, guiding me through the process, and making me feel comfortable and supported throughout the shoot.

The face behind Aayiram Frames.

Inspired by culture, movement and emotion.
I capture moments the way they’re felt, not just how they look.

Every frame carries a story.
And I’m here to tell yours.

We had a great poojai, filled with joy and laughter. It was a lovely time where we danced together, enjoyed delicious food, and created wonderful memories. 🧡
