La instalación explora el encuentro entre dos maneras de producir y relacionarnos con las cosas. Por un lado, lo modular, lo que se repite y su capacidad de adaptación; por otro, lo singular, la fragilidad y memoria en cada objeto artesanal o recuperado. Ambos universos se reúnen para construir una habitación en la que la estructura no domina a los objetos, sino que crea un nuevo espacio de diálogo desde el que ser observados, utilizados o compartidos.

ESTRUCTURAS SERIADAS, OBJETOS SINGULARES.

Del 28 de Septiembre al 1 de Octubre, estaremos en @feriahabitatvalencia formando parte del Hotel Habitat con un espacio que invita a reflexionar sobre la convivencia entre lo seriado y lo singular.

La instalación explora el encuentro entre dos maneras de producir y relacionarnos con las cosas. Por un lado @invento.project reflejando lo modular, lo que se repite; por otro, @cristalyantiguo acercándonos a lo singular y a la memoria en cada objeto. Ambos universos se reúnen para construir una habitación en la que la estructura no domina a los objetos, sino que crea un nuevo espacio de diálogo desde el que ser observados, utilizados o compartidos.

El lunes 28 podrás escuchar más acerca del proyecto en Ágora Nude (Nivel 2 Pab. 6) a las 16:00h.

THE BUNKER
A project by ABEZ

There comes a moment when spaces cease to be what they once were. The Bunker reached that point quietly. Once a gathering place linked to village festivities and long afternoons shared with friends, it needed to evolve alongside the people who had given it meaning. The project understands the house as a time capsule in transformation. Located in Los Montesinos, Alicante, the house sits on an elongated plot compressed between neighbouring buildings in the historic centre. The layout follows a longitudinal organisation, ending in a patio that becomes the heart of the house. The main rooms open towards this space, establishing a continuous relationship between interior and exterior. During excavation, the local caliche, a natural calcareous crust, was revealed. Rather than concealing it again, fragments of this geological layer are integrated within the project, preserving a tangible memory of the site. As adjacent buildings gradually increased in height, access to natural light became limited. Two geometric roof openings are introduced to draw sunlight deep into the house, reaching the exposed stone. Light moves across its textured surface throughout the day, making the passage of time visible within the interior. The floor plan is conceived as a continuous sequence rather than a series of independent rooms. There are no corridors. Circulation and inhabitation overlap. Towards the street, the intervention remains restrained. The traditional tirolesa plaster plinth, marble window frames and the large garage door are preserved. This door allows the house to fully open to the street, just as the former Bunker once did, dissolving the boundary between inside and outside. Inside, plastered walls coexist with textured gotelé ceilings and a continuous concrete floor that unifies the plan. The concrete acts as a neutral base from which the calcareous stone reappears, anchoring the house to its geological origin. @ab__e_____z

BEST OF ESPAÑA 2025 🤍 @ad_spain

Hace 4 años decidimos volver a casa y dedicarnos a lo que más nos gusta desde nuestro pueblo. Lo que en un principio veíamos como algo negativo, pronto nos dimos cuenta que hacer y hablar de diseño desde aquí sería la mejor decisión que habíamos tomado.

Gracias @mariona__rubio y @ad_spain por valorar y apoyar nuestro trabajo, y por darnos aún más ganas y energía para seguir adelante.
