10 years…10 years since you left us. 10 years without you, my brother, my protector. I don’t know how it’s been 10 years. Time really starts to speed up the older you get. My 19-year-old self could not comprehend how quickly time would pass, my 29-year-old self cannot believe that I have lived basically a third of my life without you physically here. I’m almost 30. Four years older than you were when you passed. Time is a funny thing. I wish I had more of it…but, do I? I guess it’s more that I want more time with specific things and people.

I used to think that you were at peace now, that you were somewhere that is better for you. That this was how things were going to end up anyway.
But the older I get, the more I feel that you would have loved more time in your life. I’ve been thinking about how it’s not fair that you didn’t/don’t have more time here. You’ve missed so much that I wish we could talk about, so many of your opinions I would love to hear.

I like to think about you in another dimension, in another life, one that you got to experience. One where you're happy, because you got the help you so desperarely needed. In another dimension you get to live the life you deserve. In this dimension I'll keep honoring you in the ways that I think you would want, or get humor out of. Except you’d probably hate this gram post, so this is for me. I’ll keep seeing you in things everyday, in ways that only make sense to me.

I hope that in another dimension we are 29 and 35 and the best of friends, like we were supposed to be. In another dimension, I hope that we are happy. I love you and miss you so much. by @ab_monster
