Life update. ❤️

I might not be in my comfort zone right now, but this experience has reminded me of something far more valuable than comfort. It reminded me how lucky I am to have the family, friends, and community that I do.

I’m sorry if I haven’t replied to your messages. I’ve read so many of them, and every prayer, message, and kind word has meant more than you’ll ever know. Thank you. ❤️

Today was a big day. After six days in the hospital, I was finally transferred into a wheelchair. Never thought I’d be celebrating… sitting down. 😂

Tomorrow is an even bigger day. My physiotherapist says I’m finally ready to try walking. I have physiotherapy twice a day, so if I don’t manage in the morning, I’ll try again in the afternoon.

A few days ago I couldn’t move my legs at all. Today… I kicked.

My left leg is improving every day. I can feel it in most parts, move my toes, move my foot from side to side, and today I even managed to push with it and kick, even if the spasms made it hard and scary. My right leg is still more stubborn. I still can’t move it, but little by little I know I’ll get it back.

It’s funny how life can make you celebrate things you used to do without even thinking. 😂 One kick and a few toe wiggles made my whole day.

A few months ago I was jumping out of airplanes chasing adrenaline… now I’m excited about taking my first steps again. Life definitely knows how to keep you humble.

To my parents… thank you for being my strength when I couldn’t stand on my own. I promise you, you’ll see me walk again. I would be nothing without you. You are my world. ❤️

This has been the hardest experience of my life. I lost my voice. I lost my legs. But I never lost hope.

I’ve learned that love, laughter, good people, proper care, and refusing to give up can take you much further than fear ever will.

This isn’t a setback. It’s a reset.

If life slows you down, don’t only ask, “Why me?” Ask, “What can this teach me?”

Celebrate every small victory. Be patient with yourself. Keep showing up.

I will walk again.

And whatever you’re fighting… you’ve got this too. ❤️

Digital Bali dump 🌴

1. Pretending to be flexible.
2. Ended up at a festival.
3. Professional tourist.
4. Somehow at another festival.
5. Exactly my kind of fun.
6. Bali was HOT.
7. Just checking on the dolphins.

13. Traded my car for a scooter and I’m loving it.
