The Kenya High Commission in Kampala has been ranked the best Kenyan Embassy in the whole wide world. To celebrate this momentous milestone, I hosted at the High Commissioner’s Official Residence in Kampala, a special ambassadorial dinner for staff, corporate leaders of top Kenyan corporates and the Kenyan Diaspora leaders in Uganda. We dedicate this accolade to the spirit and power of partnership.

We are proud of our top level performance in delivering Kenya’s foreign policy and augmenting our country’s diplomatic footprint.

We also used the occasion, which served as our 2nd Business Leaders Reception, to encourage further growth of Kenyan investment in Uganda and vice versa. VIVA Kenya. Viva Uganda. Viva East African Community! by @ababuterrah

It was a delight to host family, colleagues and friends at my Karen residence for a farewell reception as I said KWAHERI to staff at the @Kmunep. My special appreciation to each one of you who made this occasion so special and truly memorable.

Special mention of the superb team that I have had the privilege of leading as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary/PR of the Republic of Kenya to the United Nations Office at Nairobi (UNON) and the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). Together we have elevated the Kenyan flag in the United Nations community.

I thank my colleague Ambassadors of Uganda (H.E Eunice Kigenyi), France (H.E Arnaud Suquet), Azerbaijan (H.E Sultan Hajiyev) and the European Union Ambassador to Uganda (H.E Jan Sadek) for gracing us with their presence on Easter Monday. My Korean brother Rev. Yo Han Kim, my Chinese friends William Zhou and Mr. Zhang, my South Sudanese sister Nyawargak Bol Kir, the amazing young artists of the International Youth Fellowship IYF Kenya who lit up the occasion with their ever scintillating performance, and all other international friends, I appreciate you.

This reception was spiced by my family, both nucleus and extended, as well as special friends that I consider a part of my very essence. Ahsanteni sana!

My sister Ummi Bashir, CBS, Principal Secretary for Culture, The Arts and Heritage, and my brother Tanui K Joel Secretary Irrigation, you are more than just colleagues. Your presence was warmth personified.

Fr. George and Sr. Florence of Philothea Missionaries, you are my spiritual family to who am eternally indebted. Thank you for your ever presence in all situations. You blessed this occasion.

Now on to the next chapter of my incredible journey of service to our Motherland. by @ababuterrah

Mazingira Day for us is more than just caring for our environment, our earth. It is a moment to enjoy our habitats too, to commune with nature. Our wellness, fitness, friendships and fraternity take center stage too. We enjoyed the picturesque Singwe Hills and the incredible Bay❤️

Miss Cosmo Kenya took action for a greener future through beach cleanups and tree planting.

Every tree planted and every piece of plastic collected brings us one step closer to a cleaner, healthier planet. Together, we are Rooted in Change! by @ababuterrah
