1. Write your vows (and speeches) out on a piece of paper or designated vow books. I promise it will be better than reading off of a phone.

2. Grooms- invest in a manicure before the wedding or at the very least cut your nails and get that dirt out from under them.

3. Brides- you do not want to go dead last for hair and makeup; feeling rushed is not the vibe.

4. Let your family know when and where to be for family photos. Nothing kills the flow of the day like someone around looking for Uncle Bob.

5. Designate a friend or family member who KNOWS the members needed for your family shot list and provide it with them before hand- that way if they notice someone going astray then can intervene 😂

6. Couples who choose a first look will always have more time to mingle during their cocktail hour than those who don’t.

7. You think you want a 25 list family shot list, I promise you, you do not.

8. If you want candid type photos in your gallery you must BE candid 🤍

9. An announced cake cutting will interrupt and dull the intensity of the party happening on the dance floor.

10. Reception lighting is important and will greatly affect the way your photos come out.

11. Never ever be afraid to ask your photographer for their professional opinion- we’ve seen a lot of weddings and can make suggestions based off our experiences!

Every wedding holds a different story, a different vibe, and their own unique feelings. It should never feel like someone else’s ✨

Im big on marrying the contrast between moody and light photography and feeling in my galleries. 🤍

This is the only acceptable way to respond to me about your sneak peeks from now on 😂😂😂 @staceycgray & @andrewgray14 you guys are the BEST.

Words of affirmation is my love language. Sneak peaks and this is the response?! My heart ❤️ 😭 I love what I do.

And this is why who you hire for your wedding day matters- we’re professional problem solvers. The vendor team came together and the wedding was beautiful ❤️

No, the storm wasn’t on the radar- this was a random storm that came through the mountains.

Yes, the venue and vendor team was incredible and there was already an indoor ceremony being set up for the guests ❤️

Scenes from a pretend cocktail hour that will forever live rent free in my mind. Wild Within the Lines showcased how much beauty can be brought into a space when passionate vendors collaborate, get the chance to play, and show off their talents. I am in awe of this wickedly incredible group of vendors that poured their hearts, time, and energy into this design. Words can't express how grateful I am to have been a part of it.
