My father taught me a lesson I’ve carried with me my entire life.

Never be the person who starts unnecessary trouble. Never go looking for conflict just to prove how tough you are.

Treat people with respect, stay calm, and never mistake kindness for weakness.

But there’s another side to that lesson.

Being peaceful doesn’t mean allowing people to disrespect you, take advantage of you, or push you around.

Sometimes, you have to stand your ground, set firm boundaries, and show people that your patience has limits.

You don’t need to be aggressive to be strong, and you don’t need to lose control to defend yourself.

Real strength is knowing when to walk away, when to speak up, and when to refuse to back down.

Never start a battle to prove your strength. But when life forces you to stand up for yourself, make sure your courage is stronger than your fear.

OKI PEOPLE STAND IN SOLIDARITY WITH APC IKA SOUTH CHAIRMAN IN HIS MOMENT OF GRIEF

In moments of grief, true solidarity speaks louder than words. Demonstrating the enduring spirit of unity and brotherhood among the people of Oki, a delegation paid a condolence visit to the APC Chairman of Ika South Local Government Mr. Frank Izekor following the painful loss of his elder brother.

The delegation comprised Engr. Onainor Calistus, Mrs. Blessing Oghonim, Mr. Isioma Ogun Isioma Asks, Chief. Obiadei Collins Obiaderi (Ochinigwe), and Obuh Abass Alfred.

During the visit, the delegation expressed heartfelt condolences to the chairman and his family, encouraging them to take heart and remain strong in this difficult period. They reaffirmed that the chairman was not alone in his grief, assuring him of the continued support, solidarity, and goodwill of the Oki people.

Beyond the condolence, the visit reflected the strength of a people united by shared values, loyalty, and a common political vision. The delegation also reaffirmed Oki’s commitment to the APC and its determination to work collectively toward delivering the party’s APC 5/5 mandate at the polls.

The chairman and members of his family warmly received the delegation, expressing appreciation for the thoughtful visit and offering prayers for God’s continued blessings upon them.

For the people of Oki, this visit was more than a gesture of sympathy; it was a statement of unity, compassion, and collective strength. It demonstrated that beyond politics and party affiliations, humanity, friendship, and standing together in difficult moments remain values that bind a people.

May God grant the bereaved family the fortitude to bear this painful loss and grant the departed eternal rest.

MY PRINCIPAL. MY BLESSING.

There are people you meet in life, and there are people God deliberately places in your path.

For me, Dr. Hilary Obi Ibegbulem is one of those divine blessings.

Sir, you have been more than a principal to me. You have been a father, a mentor, a guide and a source of strength. Your words have corrected me, your wisdom has guided me, and your belief in me has given me courage to keep moving even when the road was difficult.

What I cherish most is not just what you have achieved, but the lives you continue to touch. You have shown me that true leadership is not about position or recognition. It is about sacrifice, responsibility, compassion and lifting others as you rise.

I am deeply grateful that God allowed our paths to cross.

You are a man I respect, a leader I admire, and an uncle whose impact on my life can never be measured in words.

From your wisdom, I have learned.
