Yesterday was a meaningful day in Pugu! 🌍

I had the honor of representing our organization, CFEC, in partnership with PET PRO Tanzania @petprotz —as part of our ongoing commitment to support and empower female waste pickers ♻️

Together, we had good time with our beneficiaries on entrepreneurship, shared stories, and handed out sun protection hats as a simple but powerful way to show recognition, care, and solidarity💪

Every visit reminds me that real change starts on the ground—with action, compassion, and community.

💚We are delighted to announce our new partnership with the CANADA FUND FOR LOCAL INITIATIVES(CFLI) in support of “the Climate Change Adaptation Skills Empowerment Project for Youth in Semi-Arid Areas of Dodoma, Tanzania”, implemented under the Green Z Adaptation Lab.🤗

💚This project will empower young people aged 18–35 with practical climate adaptation skills in circular economy, clean energy, and climate-smart agriculture, helping them build sustainable livelihoods while strengthening community resilience to climate change.📌

💚We are sincerely grateful for this support and look forward to creating lasting impact by enhancing the adaptive capacity of youth and communities across Dodoma.😊

I am honored to share that I have been selected to join the GAIA Africa Zero Waste Academy 2026 ♻️

This opportunity brings together passionate environmental leaders and practitioners across Africa to strengthen knowledge, skills, and collaboration in advancing zero waste solutions and sustainable resource management.

As a Climate Advocate from Tanzania, I am grateful for this chance to learn from experts and fellow changemakers and strengthening our efforts as @call_for_env_conservation to advance zero waste solutions and climate justice across our communities.

Six months ago, this was just a journey I committed to.
Today, it’s a milestone I celebrate. 🎓

I’m proud to have successfully graduated from the Youth Leadership Program, an experience that challenged my thinking, sharpened my leadership skills, and strengthened my commitment to community service.

Receiving a Certificate with Special Recognition in Strategic Leadership is a powerful reminder that growth happens when purpose meets discipline.
